Hi y'all!
If you've been following along, you already know I don't take on collaborations lightly. Every piece that leaves my studio is built by hand, bead by bead, and that's not something I hand off easily. So when the opportunity came up to design alongside Susan Alexandra, a brand and artist I've admired for a long time, it felt like exactly the kind of project worth saying yes to.
This one is personal, too. The connection to Susan's world came through people I know and trust, and that made the whole thing feel less like a business deal and more like two friends deciding to make something together. Susan's work is vibrant, playful, and completely her own, and I wanted these necklaces to feel like they could live in both of our worlds at once, my stone and bead work with a little of that Susan Alexandra sparkle mixed in.
Four necklaces came out of that process. Each one is still made the way everything at Pebble is made, by hand, on 49-strand beading wire, finished with gold-filled findings and a 2.5" extender so it moves with you. They just happen to have a bit more shine to them this time around.
